Ian Lujan, born August 31, 1993, on the island of Guam is an amateur mixed martial artist trained in the arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.
At the age of eleven, Ian began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu after being introduced to it by his uncle, Guam MMA fighter Thomas Calvo. Ian started training at Marc Laimon's Cobra Kai BJJ Academy in Las Vegas under the instruction of MMA fighter Ulysses Gomez. A year later, Ian started training Muay Thai at Master Toddy's Muay Thai Academy in Las Vegas. For 3 consecutive years, Ian trained both Muay Thai and BJJ simultaneously at Cobra Kai and Master Toddy's. At the age of 13, Ian joined the men's BJJ class and received instruction and grappled with talented grapplers such as Sim Go, Marc Laimon, Jeff Glover, Bill Cooper and Scott Bierri.
